The Brief : To redesign a lovely single fronted terrace, & create a home inspired by my client’s love of flowers, recent travels to France & the leafy aspect of her home.

As you enter, you’re welcomed by beautiful blooms & into a warm, inviting hallway that instantly transports you to a landscape reminiscent of the French countryside. Soft, natural light bathes the space, highlighting the intricate decor, evoking a sense of timeless elegance & creating a serene setting that feels both soothing & invigorating.

My vision for the conservatory-inspired main bedroom was to capture a sense of tranquillity & sophistication. By layering the space with Our MKD Furniture, beautiful prints, wallpaper, sumptuous fabrics, & blooming accents, we infused the room with depth & warmth. The stunning chandelier casts a soft glow, highlighting the intricate details, transforming the space into a serene retreat.

For one of our favourite bathroom renovations, we designed a space that embodies our client's femininity & love of fresh flowers. By incorporating floral motifs throughout the design—featuring elegant wallpaper, soft pastel colours, & fresh blooms—we created a calm & inviting atmosphere, transforming the bathroom into a soothing oasis.

In creating the kitchen, I focused on blending classic elegance with the functionality of French cottage charm. The space features our MKD Joinery, marble countertops, & vintage-inspired fixtures that capture the essence of country living, all while providing timeless style. A seamless transition from the kitchen to the living area enhances the flow & harmony of the design, combining practicality with aesthetic appeal.

The design of the living area centred around creating a space that is cosy & inviting, with a warm, glowing fireplace as its focal point of our signature MKD Joinery, surrounded by comfortable seating to encourage relaxation. Plush velvets & botanical prints bring the essence of my client's lush courtyard indoors, creating a seamless connection between the interior & the natural surroundings. The addition of our sisal rug further enhances the warm, organic feel of the living room, offering a perfect retreat to sit back, relax & unwind.

In designing the guest bedroom, my goal was to create a sanctuary that balances refinement & relaxation for visitors. The softness of the palette, reflected in the wallpaper & accents, complements the addition of embroidered textiles, luscious velvet, & fine linens, enriching the room’s atmosphere. Natural light accentuates these elegant features, creating a welcoming environment where guests can unwind & enjoy a restful stay.
