Michelle Kindness Design ships orders up to 10kg within Australia. For larger or heavier items, delivery arrangements will be made via courier, or they will be prepared for collection in-store.

Furniture Freight:

Please note that for all large furniture items, there will be a courier fee charged as an additional cost after the checkout process. A member of the Michelle Kindness Design team will contact you to arrange a quote for delivery of the purchased items to your specified address.

Shipping of Antique & 20th Century Furniture, Objects, & Art:

Shipping these items requires specialised expertise. Michelle Kindness Design collaborates with a network of experienced & efficient removalists who offer safe & cost-effective delivery services throughout Australia.

Wrapping & Packaging:

All items purchased from Michelle Kindness Design are carefully wrapped in appropriate packing materials to ensure the secure arrival of your purchase. If you require gift wrapping, please notify us during the checkout process.

International Orders:

Michelle Kindness Design can accommodate international orders. If you are interested in our products & reside outside of Australia, please contact us via email, & we can provide a shipping quote to your location.

Returns Policy

At Michelle Kindness Design, we are committed to providing you with the best shopping experience. We understand that there may be occasions when you need to return a product. This Returns Policy outlines our guidelines & procedures to ensure a smooth & fair process for you, our valued customer, & us.

1. Returns Period:

You may return items within 7 days from the date of purchase.

2. Proof of Purchase:

To process a return or exchange, please provide valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt or invoice.

3. Condition of Items:

Returned items must be in their original condition, unused, & with all original tags & packaging intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns of items that do not meet these criteria.

4. Refund or Exchange:

You have the option for a refund, exchange, or store credit, subject to the conditions of this policy & the nature of the return. Please indicate your preference when returning items.

5. Exceptions:

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Personalised or custom-made items
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance

6. Process:

To initiate a return, please contact us by email or telephone at (03) 9804 3344 or visit our physical store. We will guide you through the process & provide you with a return authorisation if applicable.

7. Return Shipping:

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except for cases involving faulty or incorrect items, where we will cover the return shipping costs.

8. Restocking Fees:

We do not charge restocking fees for returns, except in cases where items require significant reconditioning.

9. Refund Method:

Refunds will be issued through the original payment method, or as store credit if preferred. Please allow 5 business days for us to process your return & issue the refund.

10. Warranty Information:

For products covered by warranties, please refer to the specific warranty information provided with the product. Contact us for warranty-related inquiries.

11. Compliance with Consumer Law:

Our Returns Policy is in compliance with Australian Consumer Law, which grants consumers certain rights & protections.
