An Easter Afternoon Tea

An Easter Afternoon Tea

There’s something so special about gathering at a beautifully dressed table
—especially at Easter, when everything feels soft, light, & full of promise.

Whether you are hosting a long lunch or a simple afternoon tea,
it’s the thoughtful details that make it all the more memorable! - Michelle xx

Easter lends itself to my favourite shades of pinks & greens when dressing a table, bringing together old & new. When creating this table I loved incorporating vintage & antique pieces, along with an abundance of beautiful blooms & always a candle or two.

Featured are a set of Early 20th Century French Provincial Ladder-back Chairs & our MKD Bespoke Vigneron Table, the perfect occasional table for a small gathering.

A beautiful French Art Deco Champagne Bucket from our favourite antique dealer, Migeul Meirelles makes for the perfect vessel to display your easter bouquet, while a lovely vintage Cake Cloche adds that special touch of whimsy. Tied with a ribbon our custom-made MKD Napkins are always an essential for your easter table.

All pieces available in-store only.

Meet Miss Madeleine! The highlight of curating this years easter table was collaborating with Madeleine Carroll, a very talented artisan maker from Sydney. Taking inspiration from the wallpapers featured in our studio by Sanderson & Osborne & Little, together we created our very own Miss Chocette X MKD Collection filled with speckled praline eggs from the land of chocolate - Belgium.
